They have gluten free batter and a fryer dedicated to gluten free!!! So it was a real treat. It has a quaint seaside atmosphere and wonderful staff! I can hardly wait for my next visit to Ottawa.

The Lifeboat Basa was excellent. It was Perfectly pan-seared and remains hot and juicy the entire time it was on my plate. Great friendly service with a smile really adds to the dining experience. Nice atmosphere. Interesting choice of folk music, but it suits the theme of the place. I foresee myself venturing back to this little place a lot more in the future if they continue to serve the awesome food that I have been receiving each time I go.
