Was Jennifer W at Mickey's a mag?
I visited this restaurant on a whim one Friday afternoon. Although I am new to the area, my fiancé is acquainted with the owner. I learned that the restaurant has been passed down to the owner's son. I had a wonderful time chatting with both of them. As someone who has experienced a similar situation, I found it heartwarming to see their legacy continuing. I highly recommend trying the stuffed peppers appetizer and t... View all feedback.
What Paul T dislikes about Mickey's:
The food at this restaurant was terrible. We waited almost 45 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, and when we finally spoke up, we were told to be patient. Despite the poor service, we tried to enjoy the food, but when it arrived nearly half an hour later, it looked nothing like what was advertised. To make matters worse, my wife noticed what appeared to be rat droppings in her dish. When we brought this to t... View all feedback.

The seafood is the best in olean. my wife had a steak and it was perfect. mickey’s is #1 in the city
The best Philly steak sub I have ever had since Tom in Ellicotville owned the Hougie Haus.
Nice diner with delicious homemade food and friendly staff. However, the normal dining area is closed so you have to eat in a dark bar which I felt wasn't the best. The staff definitely makes up for that though as our waitress was exceptionally friendly and genuine which my kids loved.
Great food and great people who work there! Gracie the bartender is awesome.
Good food and good service. Clean and friendly. Had the burger and fries, delicious.

Food,Service and Atmosphere are all amazing! Great owner and staff !
First time patron. The food was really good. I think the prices are fair. Mary, my server was great! Spotless restaurant. I will be returning!
Delicious food!! Highly recommend coming here. Kid-friendliness: They have many options for kids and they definitely like the food.
Had a great lunch special of Texas Hots and fries. Delicious.
The wings at this restaurant in Olean are terrible. I ordered 10 wings and received 2 flats and 8 drums. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she told me that I should have asked for flats. I explained that in my experience, you usually receive a mix of both types of wings. Unfortunately, most of the wings were very fatty, so I had to remove the skin to eat them. Additionally, 2 of the drums were extremely tough and small. I asked the waitress to take them off my bill, but she did not try to do so. I will not be coming back to this restaurant and I believe I have had better wings at a Chinese buffet.

This place is amazing and I'm so sorry that I've passed it by so often. I had one of the best strip steaks ever with a side of impeccable garlic butter noodles. Totally worth $24. My sister and I split the steak and the delectable shrimp scampi. Eight fresh, plump and perfectly seasoned. My mom enjoyed her fisherman's platter so much she didn't share and the kid's size spaghetti and meatball was more than enough for my little cousin. You could tell most of their items were homemade. Top it off with great desserts and excellent service. This place is a hit that shouldn't be slept on. We will be back.
We stumbled upon Mickeys while they were serving Honeycrisp barbecue. The smell enticed us to make a U-turn and try it out. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive despite the busy atmosphere with many takeout orders. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Despite the poor service, we tried to enjoy the food, but when it arrived nearly half an hour later, it looked nothing like what was advertised. To make matters worse, my wife noticed what appeared to be rat droppings in her dish. When we brought this to the owner's attention, he dismissed it as adding flavor and laughed. We were appalled and would never eat here again. This place should be closed down. Do not dine here if you value your health.
First time in Olean. Asked some people around town. Mickeys was recommended.. Walked in during lunch. So we had limited time.. We sat down. It wasnt that busy. Filled with many elderly ladies.... We waited 10 mins and noone came over.. We had to grab a waitress... We waited for menus.. All of us ordered 3 burgers and fries.. Not a big deal.. Should come out quick. Right?.. Nope... We waited 45 mins for 3 burgers and fries... We had to and ask them to box it up.. Which they weren't too happy about.. We asked separate bills. It took the waitress/cashier 10 minutes to cash out. She was dealing with some elderly ladies having problems separating their bills.. She was not happy...but showed patience.. Needless to say... Mickeys won't be the first in my list to eat in Olean.. On positive note: Loaded burger was big and actually really good.. Thats why I gave this place 2 stars..
