Furnishings cozy, including the titular fireside. Bathroom clean and waitstaff very friendly (many thanks to waitress Tirsha Parking unpaved directly outside, with space enough for thirty cars easy. In November 2021 the Cattaraugus County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location.

I ordered a hamburger and fries, and the hamburger was extremely dry. The fries reminded me of McDonald's—too small and too hard. Dave was the cook during my visit. Service was good, and the atmosphere was nice, but the food unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. Price per person was around $10–20. I had a small fish fry and shrimp cocktail and a salad it was all delicious and our waitress was very nice. The only reason I give them a 4 ? is because I feel the shrimp couldhave been a little bigger for jumbo shrimp cocktail and it took a little while to be served but we'll definitely go back.
