Was DANIELLE AYR TAVARES DE ALMEIDA at Cusumano a mag?
Absoutely amazing! Everything tasted very fresh and prices were fair. The apps, entrees, and desserts were all very good. The downstairs is a nice relaxed atmosphere and the bartender was super nice and helpful in sharing information about the restaurant and town in general. Will certainly be back! View all feedback.
What T Thomas dislikes about Cusumano:
My family and I have been going to this place for a long time.. we went for fathers Day to sit outside and eat some smoked ribs.. waited more than 2 hours and still didn't get our food so we asked for the check.. to be fair they were very busy when we arrived but we were more than patient and were barely checked on.. upsetting and this was by far our worst experience here.. food and service is usually great View all feedback.
Let me corroborate some of these previous reviews before the owner accuses another unsatisfied customer of having dementia. 1. Table for 7, reservation made 2 days in advance, for 7pm Saturday. Why am I standing in the foyer at 7:30pm, getting tripped over by drunk waitresses and 12-year-old busboys? That 's not what reservation means. Maybe I 'm hallucinating, like the rest of these reviewers. 2. When we were finally seated, they didn 't bring us water for another half hour. I can 't tell you how excited I was for my water ration, like a prisoner. But even prisoners get bread, right? Guess again. Bread wouldn 't come out until 8:30. A couple one-inch-thick slices of baguette for a table of 7. Mangia! 3. Stumblina took our orders and then disappeared for another half hour. Thankfully, one of the child laborers gave us another water ration. This held us over until 9, when they brought out our salads. The Caesar (note the spelling for menu revisions) came as a side with my theoretical entree, but they snuck a sassy little $5 upcharge onto it. It was absolutely made with iceberg lettuce. I cannot believe that the Cusumano PR team is like we 'd never use iceberg lettuce! You 're just confused! as if their patrons have never visited a grocery store before. 4. We came here to celebrate a birthday and a new job, so we 're praying for something to salvage the evening. I ask for more bread. To her credit, this waitress did bring us three pieces of bread within the next 5 minutes. We did not have to fight each other with silverware for a portion. She also brought us cheese cubes, for some reason. Unfortunately, the bread was frozen inside. Not lukewarm. Not stale. Not even kind of cold . Frozen solid inside. Inedible. Possibly still dough. That was about where we checked out, and told one of the inebriated waitresses (since our other two had gone missing again) that the meal was a train wreck and we wanted to pay for our drinks and our bad salads and leave. 5. The owner himself could not be bothered to come talk to us. Looking at the reviews, it 's probably because he rationalizes away the messes he makes every night. This poor drunk woman came back and said, The owner said to comp you a free pizza . Why would we want a free pizza? You won 't feed us what we ordered! The few items we have received have been spectacular failures. Including bread. Medieval peasants accidentally succeeded at making bread. I can 't sit here until you figure out a pizza, I 've got work on Monday. What a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Microwave a hot pocket at Convenient, you 've got less chance of food poisoning and guaranteed better ambiance.
Absolutely atrocious. I made a reservation for 7 people at 7pm to celebrate my birthday and my fiancé’s new job with my family. We were not seated until almost 8pm. We waited another 20 minutes for water and to have our order taken. They brought out 3 slices of bread for a table of 7 people. Our salads (with iceberg lettuce and a $5 upcharge for Caesar) came out at 8:45 and we asked for more bread. They brought us bread that was frozen in the middle and couldn 't even be sliced all the way through properly. At this point, we decided not to even wait for our meals, as everything was already so terrible it wasn 't worth it. It was also so loud in the restaurant that we could barely even talk to each other. I 'd assume it 's because people have no choice but to get drunk and obnoxious while waiting 3 hours for their table and food. The owner couldn 't be bothered to come talk to us himself but had the waitress offer us a complimentary pizza , after we had ordered at least $50 worth of drinks and were waiting on $20-30 meals each. No thank you. Don 't waste your time or your money.
Great food, awesome drinks, and the friendly staff was beyond accommodating. Will definitely be back!
Deplorable is the best word to describe our experience. Everything from the amateur hour occurring in the kitchen to the abhorrent service. The food shouldn’t even be classified as restaurant grade; let’s put it this way: Even an at-home cook knows that you don’t liberally pour lemon juice over cooked poultry. The pasta is most definitely not made in-house. The sauce is canned.Frankly, don’t waste your time or your money on this waste. Plenty of other options with quality ingredients that isn’t engrained with the Old Forge mentality of laying down a linen table cloth and serving inedible food and calling yourself a restaurant.Let’s take a look at their menu; 2 proteins served 6 or 7 different ways? Hmm, I wonder if someone was a caterer and failed at their previous venture? What an amazing joke.Unacceptable and sad. And I won’t be calling the restaurant or accepting an abusive response from the proprietor; their food spoke for itself and the decline of Old Forge in general. One and done; wouldn’t return if they offered me a free meal and a chauffeur.
I’d like to share my honest review of our experience yesterday for Fathers Day dinner. Let’s start off with the good! the food was delicious!! Our entire table enjoyed all of their food! the overall vibe of the BBQ pit was so fun; live music, axe throwing, lots of fun outdoor games for guests to enjoy after some pretty awful service and some lip from the owner, the owner did make it right. The bad we started off waiting quite some time for drinks. Someone in our party ordered a mixed drink — it didn’t come out without complaining. And our drinks weren’t refilled for over an hour. after 1.5 hours, I asked our waitress for our CHILDRENS food, and was told it wasn’t possible as they were so backed up.. okay! Totally get it, Father’s Day, totally overbooked themselves…….. so I asked for bread for our children. (9 and 6 years old; little guy was crying, we didn’t give him lunch so he’d eat dinner).. had to ask 2 times, for our waitress to tell us that she’s sorry but there’s no bread. Ok. Soon after, our dinners came out WITH BREAD ON THE TRAYS…. BREAD ON THE TRAY my $50 steak kabobs cold—to say I was irate would be an understatement. The owner came over and questioned why I was so upset “over bread” since his waitress brought bread and butter. My husband and I explained that wasn’t the case, nothing was brought out— this went back for forth for a minute or so…. Eventually, I think he may have understood my frustration. ……Soon after…a warm dinner, ice cream and watermelon were given to my boys. This was a VERY kind gesture from the owner. Our check was fixed to reflect the inconveniences. In the end, he made it right we appreciate it. They removed the included tip and we still tipped 20%, people are human. Customer perception Good service starts from the top up. He made it clear that our waitress was “just a young girl”.. so train staff better and don’t overbook your restaurant.
