My wife ordered the Chicken Risotto and I went for the Seafood Blanco. The portions were HUGE and absolutely DELICIOUS!
Head straight for the pizza and don't concern yourself with anything else—the dim, worn interior or the grouchy waitress. Just savor the food and you'll be thankful you did. This is truly one of the best pizzas we've ever tasted; we even returned two nights in a row! To truly appreciate the beauty of this pie, order the plain version. It features a delightful blend of cheese atop a tangy, not overly sweet, red sauce. Imagine a medium thick/thin focaccia with an incredibly crispy bottom, served on a rectangular tray. It's absolutely worth every minute of the drive.
Food was fantastic, service pretty mediocre. From our server not being able to find out the market price of 3 dishes on the menu, 3 of 4 salads brought out, 3 of 4 dinners served, after 10 minutes we were told they had to get the cheese ravioli from nextdoor . No salt and pepper on table, we were offered 20% off our check, then were told the price of the 1 soda we had wasgreater than 20% so she took the soda off. I asked how can that be possible, she came back annoyed with a lesser price check. They did buy our dessert, served forks with ice cream, but with so many other places to eat at, we will not return here.
We went Friday night, sort of busy, fast food service was definitely a plus, quick to have our beverages, asked for an alcoholic beverage menu which we waited 20 minutes still no menu, the appetizers/soup/salads came out and our dinners came out before wegot the menus after asking a 2nd time, we sat for another 30 minutes and our server never came back over to see if we wanted analcoholic beverage... the arancini was good but the vodka sauce was different then usual, had no flavor was flat and bland, figured maybe it was a separate sauce from the dinner pasta vodka, was wrong pasta portion was great but the sauce had an acidictaste wasn't sure if it was a different Parmigiano or the sauce was old but we didn't eat the dinner after our first bite, serveasked if we wanted a box we said no, she handed the check and walked away, didn't ask if there was an issue didn't check up onus, sad thing to say is that the party of 8 or so she went to 9 times and came to us 1 time since the food came out, party of 2shouldn't be neglected because your worried about a 30$ tip which we might have gave on out 70$ bill but the service wasterrible lucky we gave what we gave all she did was give us our regular drinks, busser/food runner took care of therest...should have tipped them instead. not impressed and the flat salads they serve, like they prepare 20 salads at a time andstack them ontop of each other, 2 cucumbers 2 tomatoes and 5 forks worth of lettuce, deffiently one of the most skimpy saladsI've ever had.
