This is a popular pub and deserves that. not being turned off when it seems to be done, sitting out there can be available quite quickly. the drinks are great a... read more This is a popular pub and deserves that. not being turned off when it seems to be done, sitting out there can be available quite quickly. the drinks are great and eating is good. one of the best things is that they order their food and drinks on a luke outside. there is a good atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. the ham was delicious.

Upon arriving at 2:30 pm, I was worried when another group... read more We have been to this pub several times and decided to make a reservation for Sunday lunch at 2:30 pm. Upon arriving at 2:30 pm, I was worried when another group at the bar mentioned they had booked a table but were told they could sit anywhere. When I went to the bar for another drink at 3:00 pm, I found that the carvery was closed. I inquired why and was told they had run out of vegetables and potatoes, but could make some mashed potatoes instead. It seems like amateurs are running what could be a decent establishment. I will not be returning.
