Really good food, excellent service, and ambience! We are staying locally, and were recommended by our hosts to book The Fox and Goose for dinner. I had the Prawn Cocktail followed by steak and ale pie, which were both very good! My wife had the fish stew, which she also really enjoyed. We enjoyed our evening and food so much that we have booked a table again for tomorrow night, and will definitely be back again for dinner a few times during our stay.

Booked Sunday lunch for 1400 on the 21st June . We arrived promptly unfortunately we could not say the same for the food that took fifty minutes from ordering to table. The food was ok, nothing special and we felt the lamb was a little tough. We waited for the sweet menu that was never offered and now knew why, they were closing and clearly wanted us out. In fact my Wife noted the closed sign on the door as we left. Cannot recommend in fact would advise avoid. Average price for Sunday lunch in area is c£15 some inc sweet) so expensive as well.

Fantastic place to stay. Do yourself a favour and book in here. Craig and Aiden fantastic hosts. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean. They were so welcoming and it was like staying with friends. Their attention to detail is superb and nothing is too much trouble. We will look forward to going there again. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

A brilliant pub in a beautiful place. Everything about The Fox and Goose is generous great rooms, wonderful service and amazing food. The fresh Brixham fish alone is worth a detour if you're in the area. So glad we stayed there. Lucky Parracombe!

We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The room was large and very well fitted out. Lovely wooden furniture. Bathroom was very spacious and modern. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was exceptional. We are here for dinner too both nights. The food available was of very high quality and delicious.
