The Barn was a fantastic place for a drink and food after a long day on the beach, one of there members of staff Dawn was lovely and helped us immensely when we left our coat in the barn and only realised when we returned home. She organised it to be posted! Thanks again Dawn

Great place to grab a drink, definitely could do with some more people on the bar during busy periods. We only got some chips but for 4 bowls it cost £27, a little expensive for something so small.

I had the two for £20 pizza here on a Friday evening and I can honestly say it’s the worst pizza I have had in 35 years. Just tastes of tomato puree and herbs. Lovely atmosphere but the pizzas need to go!

More information

Regulars still consider The Red Barn a Woolacombe institution for post-beach pints and relaxed family meals, but since a change in ownership some operational practices (like kitchen hours and stock rotation) have shifted — locals often book early or call ahead to secure preferred beers and seating.
