What Toddcolwill doesn't like about The Log Cabin Diner:
The elderly man working in the kitchen, who I assume is the manager, is terrible to the staff and rude to customers. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. However, the woman who served us was lovely. Unfortunately, we found hair in our food. None of the kitchen staff have their hair tied up, which probably explains the issue. read moreNestled conveniently off the main Devon link road, this café boasts a prime location and the promise of delicious meals. While some patrons relish its hearty full English breakfasts and accommodating staff, reports of inconsistency and cleanliness issues tarnish its reputation. Complaints range from rude kitchen staff and unkempt hygiene—evidenced by hair found in meals—to infrequent closures that leave would-be diners frustrated. Despite its potential, the management needs to enhance customer service and food quality to build a loyal following. For now, visitors might find more reliable options nearby, like Cartgate café, for hearty fare at reasonable prices.
