We had excellent food, well presented at a good price with cheerful and efficient service. An extensive menu, nice decor and artwork, good wine, alcohol free Guinness, cocktails. We will definitely be back.

The dishes were beautifully presented, as shown... read more We had a wonderful lunch today at the restaurant. I ordered the Fish Pie while my wife had the Beef Bourguignon. The dishes were beautifully presented, as shown in the photos, and were only £10 each. We also indulged in a cocktail, which was excellent!

My husband enjoyed his fillet steak, although they initially forgot the sauce, which was brought when requested. I was disappointed with the whole plaice dish, as there wasn't much meat on the fish once the bone was removed. The setting was lovely, but it was disappointing that the staff seemed inadequately trained - they weren't sure what the fish of the day was and couldn't differentiate between the salt and pepper cellars, as well as neglecting to ensure they were full. Good service is just as important as good food, so unfortunately, I wouldn't return to this restaurant.
