London Inn - North Devon
London Inn
Description
Nestled in the heart of Brownton, this charming pub boasts a rustic allure enhanced by welcoming staff and a vibrant atmosphere. However, inconsistency in service, particularly regarding closing hours and customer interactions, has sparked dissatisfaction among patrons. While the delightful bar food and reasonable drink prices have garnered praise, some customers have found fault with the treatment they received, especially during busy events. Despite these critiques, many guests appreciate the establishment's inviting environment for both locals and visitors, offering a solid selection of beverages and a promise of enjoyable dining experiences amidst the bustling seaside charm.

Beautiful small pub in the center of brownton. has a traditional rustic charm. in comparison to the george inn and sq is the london the rustic and simple of the three, but there is nothing wrong with it.
Well renovated. great gardening when they bring a dog that are welcomed, they take something for him to lay. the artificial turf will become very hot in summer. the bar foods are good and cheap. only one point, and it in no wise reflects on the quality of everything, I asked why most of the outside lights were gone on a bright sunny afternoon. the honest answer was that they will turn them on during the day, because they will be switched on in the evening.
Friendly pub in the village with a good selection of beer, beautiful outdoor seating, right in the center of the village.
This is a great pub, but why are you so eager to close early? Last call on a Friday at 10:30 when there are still customers in the pub! And on Saturday, last call was announced while the band was still playing. We were rushed out quickly and offered plastic cups to finish our drinks outside. Owners, do you want to make money after Covid? If so, it doesn't make sense to close early when there is still demand. It's a bit crazy.
