Nice Saturday lunch in Captain Jacks. I had the Garden Vegan Burger and my wife had the Falafel Salad. Drinks were good, the pub had a nice atmosphere and service was great we asked for some olives in the salad and they were kindly provided. The specials looked good but as we were walking back to Croyde we just fancied a light bite.
Had lunch with friends here and found the food to be of high quality and a reasonable price to for the area. Allergen information is well listed on the menu and the chef was happy to change my friends ordered dish to accommodate her. Wasn't a really warm day so we sat inside. which was a shame because the outdoor area looks very good. Pub is atmospheric and they let us use the pool table for free. Overall enjoyed and the only slight negative was the place was showing signs of general wear and tear. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
My partner and I fancied an ice cream after dinner so went to Captain Jacks I had profiteroles and he had the Jacks sundae! Both were so tasty and well presented!

This charming pub has a lovely beer garden filled with sunlight. I enjoyed a delicious pint of Sandford Orchards traditional cider and found the staff to be friendly. Plus, there is also a pool table available. I highly recommend this place.
