Nice pub but very disappointed with the food,ordered large portion of chicken wings, only 2 small portions arrived to feed 4 adults, also ordered 4 beef burgers chips, burgers were very dry and tasteless. I heard great reviews,but sadly didn't live up to them. I'm new to Mullingar, but Gillerans appears to have all the qualities of what you'd want in a local.
Had a bite to eat yesterday and a few drinks here before they met the festival! so a beautiful comfortable and accommodating spot. eating and drinking was top class, we had the bruscgetta, curry, fish and chips and all were delish! the owners were so nice, friendly and attentive. I would recommend it.
The WORKS breakfast was as good a full Irish as I have had in long time. Good meaty sausages and the pudding cut good and thick, not penny thin like you get most places. Very helpfull staff too. Spot on!!! I will definalty be back ..
