what an excellent restaurant, they offer excellent meat dishes as well as seafood. service was perfect, the love for detail on each row and all dishes were freshly prepared. also the deserts were freshly prepared, which is unfortunately not the case in so many restaurants. best restaurant in kenmare with a long shot. their wine and gin selection is impressive so they take a taxi. overall beautiful atmosphere and a beautiful enough meal. I found the garden veg presumed for beginning september (cauliflower / carrots/pasnips as side. chilled medium ripe bark pest tomatoes in salat) and also noticed the lack at the beginning of the day, which led to the conclusion that the fish could be frozen and/or not local. the lack of provenance and seasonality is not appropriate for this price, and I do not... Wonderful place! Portions are massive, we ordered fish chips and 1 portion was enough for 2 people. Their seafood chowder is also a must-try! Everything was rich, chowder was creamy, and the tartare sauce was out of this world! 10/10!
We had an incredible meal here last weekend. The location is second to none with stunning views and scenery. The food was outstanding, some of the best seafood we’ve had in Ireland. Service was excellent, very attentive. If you are in the area or even close by, don’t miss out on this great spot!

Visited the BoatHouse for the first time. The food is incredible. Seasonal and very special. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The scenery is some of the best in the country. Highly recommend a visit.
I just simply love this place. The location is so beautiful and peaceful looking out on Kenmare Bay. The restaurant and facilities are spotless. We were there for lunch when on this s occasion and both opted for the fish tacos. They were so fresh tasting with a tangy sauce. Supplied with a salad and fries. We had two glasses of Burgundy wine which were generous. Our server was so friendly and chatty. Would highly recommend
