We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We received a warm and friendly welcome and all the staff went the extra mile. The rooms are lovely with great facilities, the beds are very comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. 10 out of 10 for the breakfast too. Highly recommended place to stay. Stayed there on a business trip. Nice hotel but the rooms really need a revamp The hotel did state wifi but I think it wasn't working. A fresh coat of paint good wifi and usb connectivity would give the rooms a simple lift. I spent 5 days at Ramnee hotel whilst attending a Wellness Retreat nearby. The service was of high standard indeed. Staff were helpful and efficient. The proprietor of the hotel was very welcoming and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. I will be going back to stay at Ramnee Hotel as long as I visit that part of the country. I liked the view of the North Sea bay from my room. Nothing beats the fresh sea breeze every morning and the tranquility of being out there in the open. The dining experience gives a homely feel. Loved the whole experience. Rooms: The rooms are cleaned on request. Information on how to request cleaning or towels is provided in the room. That was no problem to me. Nearby activities: There are lots of places to visit but I had little time to spare due to the Retreat. Safety: No issues. I felt safe. Walkability: Because of the close proximity to the Bay of the North Sea, people can walk about admiring views. Food and drinks: Delicious meals served. The Scottish Oats porridge was my favourite. The way it was prepared was delicious. I asked the hotel staff to include oats porridge on the adverts. I encourage porridge lovers to ask for it when you visit. You will enjoy it. Noteworthy details: Transport is not easily available especially during school term. There are very limited taxi services so that’s one thing to keep in mind.
