We had a lovely dinner at Toscana yesterday. Cozy wee restaurant, friendly staff, tasty food with a good selection. The only reason I took a star off, the portion of pasta and starters are way too tiny. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Took family here who were visiting we were very disappointed. Food well below average unfortunately and not what we would expect from an Italian restaurant more like food you’d make at home. The chicken pieces in the pasta and risotto were tiny cubes almost like they’d come from a frozen bag and tasted processed. I had a pizza and the dough was just like the pre made dough from the super market that goes a little like cardboard when you cook it. Such a shame, I’m sure this place has potential to improve.
