Was MattMasterIII at Arches Thai a mag?
Food was not too bad. I had the closest thing to ramen- broccoli, noodles and chicken which were good.. like some of the previous reviews the atmosphere is average and there was only one waiter. Also, the little curtain fence at the entrance and the waiter having to opening was a little weird considering this place is local and nothing too special. Overall, decent. View all feedback.
What Harry dislikes about Arches Thai:
Not sure why but there was only one person taking care of the entire restaurant (from hosting, to cleaning, to busing and taking care of the bills). The line extended outside the restaurant while there were many empty tables inside. As a result, theservice was extremely slow and the quality was suffering. The food was decent however so kudos to the kitchen staff forchurning out dishes after dishes. One friendly sugge... View all feedback.
Wanted to update that Sept 2020 we weren’t charged for removing the egg- I hadn’t read happy cow before eating to know that was even an issue. They have an array of unique curries that not all Thai places have, like masaman and jungle. Told us could do vegan even though that contradicts what some have said here. Portions are pretty big. I regularly eat in Thaitown in LA and this place could hang for sure. Also four star spicy wasn’t that spicy. Maybe it’s a Utah scale
We love Thai food and this is one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve ever been to! Vegans and meat eaters all agreed. The vegan Massaman Curry was the best and definitely the most beautiful I have ever tasted or seen. They go over the top to make the dishes gorgeous and the flavors are so rich and full. Totally worth the money!
No vegan curries, and no option of veganizing curries. As others noted, various other dishes have egg and they charge you extra to omit it. When I spoke with them they seemed uninterested in providing vegan options. I used to eat here when I was vegetarian, now I take all my business to Bangkok House Too instead they go out of their way to have a vegan curry paste available that can be used for any curry, as well other various other vegan options.
