If our daughter 's room had not been available to use that... read more I was annoyed at the hotel at first as we arrived at 12:00 but didn 't get into our room until 3:45. If our daughter 's room had not been available to use that would have been very uncomfortable. Reception was unsympathetic also said no breakfast before 7:30 when some of our trips were leaving at 8:00. Fortunately that was untrue. Breakfasts were very good but other meals uneven. The public rooms are very attractive. The proximity of the hotel next to the 'port ' makes it easy to use the multitude of boats to explore Lake Como. AND very enjoyable to watch them from the grounds restaurant which are on the lakeside.
