Taj on High has garnered mixed reviews, with experiences ranging from delightful to disappointing. While some patrons praise the authentic flavors, generous portions, and attentive staff, others lament undercooked dishes and inattentive service. Highlights include tasty garlic naan and rich curries, though a few diners encountered oversaturated flavors and inconsistent quality. The welcoming atmosphere and emphasis on vegetarian options are noted positively. A standout moment featured a complimentary meal for a student, showcasing the restaurant’s community spirit. Overall, while many enthusiasts will return, the restaurant’s fluctuations in quality and service warrant some caution from potential visitors.

Was Anonym at Taj a mag?
Was told to try this restaurant on my next trip to Epping, I’m so glad I did. I ordered a recommendation from the server the chicken taj special and asked for it hot some plain rice and a garlic nan bread. I should of ordered a plain nan too to scoop up the rest of the curry. The food came pretty fast the clientele were all Indians so I knew I was onto a good thing here. The food was really authentic and tasty. Washe... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Taj:
I’ll start off by saying I’ve been to little Indian restaurants but Taj on High I really did enjoy the food, the only reason why the restaurant lost 2 stars, we’re that the seats were uncomfortable and we asked for the spiciest spicy food and we did not believe it was their spiciest option which was disappointing. However we did enjoy the food that we got and will return here and order through Uber eats to our home w... View all feedback.

A special shout out to their paneer stuffed naan and garlic roti which was delicious!
Qyality and taste of food was delicious along with best service in good atmosphere, only urinary facility required more attention, overall good
This is one of the top Indian restaurants in Melbourne, offering excellent quality food and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend it!
The Lamb Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken, and Beef Biryani were all incredible. The portion sizes were generous; the family pack for two could easily serve a couple of kids as well. The samosas were delicious too. Thank you, Taj On High! I will definitely be ordering from you again.
