Lovely food, good service and way-too-drinkable soju cocktails by the carafe! We've tried many a dish, all have been wonderful. Although, first time we ate here the spicy beef ribs had enough chilli to ensure that after an hour's worth of gentle brewing, table grazing and conversation it was practically nuclear. Delicious, but largely inedible... We have certainly learned our lesson and took out about half of the drie... View all feedback.

We have certainly learned our lesson and took out about half of the dried chillis as soon as the pot hit the table this time, making for a much more satisfying meal! Will definitely go back next time we're in Melbourne.

I really enjoyed this. We went in a group of 6 which is a great way to experience the variety and quality Korean tapas. The novel BBQ set up in the middle of the table was great and the staff were friendly and efficient, most helpful. The house wine is good. We stayed on and had soju rounds till late.

Probably not very traditional Korean food but interesting, yummy and entertaining to see the meat being grilled and aflame (like a savour bomb alaska experience!). Very hospitable, friendly and entertaining young man serving us and doing the grilling. We had 4 tapas, Kimchi Aranchini( fried rice balls, very crispy, with kimchi and cheese inside served on baby spinach) really nice, very popular was our favourite. The least enjoyable was the simmered pork belly, found it rather bland and fatty. For the main we had angus beef cooked on a stone grill infront of us, it was so tender and we enjoyed watching the young man setting the beef on fire. We had a deal voucher so it was good value. However the small bowl of rice was pretty pricey for $3 each! The good service was well worth a tip. Highly recommended for an experience of westernised Korean food. At least you can try their favourite Kim Chi (pickled cabbage, very garlicky!)

I had a Living Social deal for dinner, so there were 12 adults and 5 kids at our table. We waited for an hour before any staff approached us to take our orders. Once they finally came over and set us up with the BBQ cookers, we were given the condiments to start cooking. However, the portion sizes were extremely small and left us feeling unsatisfied, especially when they brought out seafood that consisted of only one prawn and two scallops per cooker. The general consensus around the table was that we would have to stop for pizza on the way home, which most of the guests ended up doing. My wife and I even went to an Indian restaurant nearby to fill the void when we got home. Despite the tasty food, the stingy portions were a major disappointment and did not fill up my 12-year-old son or the adults with me. If I were to offer any advice to this establishment, it would be to 1) add more staff to cater to large bookings and regular clients simultaneously, rather than making customers wait for an hour to order and then wait between small courses, and 2) serve decent portion sizes to avoid customers feeling the need to eat elsewhere afterwards. All customers, whether regular paying ones or those with coupons or vouchers, should be treated equally.

The food at this restaurant is wonderful and the service is good. The soju cocktails by the carafe are dangerously easy to drink. We have tried many dishes and all of them have been great. However, the first time we tried the spicy beef ribs, they were so spicy that they were practically inedible after letting them sit for a while. We learned our lesson and removed half of the dried chillis as soon as the dish was served, resulting in a much more enjoyable meal. We will definitely return next time we are in Melbourne.
