As visitors to Melbourne we went out for tee and the resteraunt we had chosen was too busy so we went for a walk to find another. We couldn't have been more pleased we found the Spagetti Tree. Great service. Great food. Live music by a very talented older gent, key board, violin, piano accordion. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spaghetti Tree:
My husband and I visited Melbourne for the weekend and thought we would try this restaurant. I ordered the ravioli and my husband had the spaghetti marinara. I am Italian and have had many plates of pasta over the years, here in Australia and Italy and I have to say it was the worse bowl of pasta I have ever had in my entire life and my husband felt exactly the same. It tasted like a tin of tomatoes had been thrown i... View all feedback.
We had a nice family dinner in the spaghetti tree. we had a lasagne, spaghetti bolognese and chicken parmigiana. it's a past since our last visit, but will definitely be back soon.
Really disappointing. waits for the service for a past and constantly ignored. was told by another mozen that they overheard a waiter and said they were full, be they suitable for a coworker to just tell me that instead of ignoring me. I understand that I am full, but to be unfaithful for the customers?!
This Italian restaurant is a true hidden gem located at the edge of the French quarter in front of the Sofitel. The cozy family atmosphere makes you feel like you are being welcomed with open arms. The meals are hearty and made with love. The decor is a mix of eclectic and comfortable, with plenty of space including an upper floor that demands attention. The background music sets a nice ambiance, but adding an authentic Italian guitarist would elevate the experience even more. The staff is friendly and happy to make suggestions to enhance your dining experience. Overall, this hidden gem could become the next popular spot in the area. Be sure to try the spaghetti at Spaghetti Tree on Bourke Street in Melbourne next time - I know I will definitely be back.
We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious, the service and atmosphere were lovely, and the parmigiana, vegetarian ravioli, and spaghetti bolognese were all beautifully prepared. The lime sorbet was also delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary lemonade, and we will definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we are in Melbourne.
During a work trip to Melbourne, I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. I couldn't decide between the spaghetti Bolognese or the veal, but the owner graciously offered to combine both dishes. It turned out to be the most delicious meal I've ever had - the bolognese was perfect and the veal was outstanding. My partner ordered the porterhouse steak and said it was the best steak he's ever had. The male staff member was attentive and welcoming, which is not always easy to find in Australian restaurants. Overall, the food and service were exceptional and we will definitely be returning. We couldn't find any faults with this place.
