Was Anonym at Spaghetti Tree a mag?
As visitors to Melbourne we went out for tee and the resteraunt we had chosen was too busy so we went for a walk to find another. We couldn't have been more pleased we found the Spagetti Tree. Great service. Great food. Live music by a very talented older gent, key board, violin, piano accordion. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Spaghetti Tree:
My husband and I visited Melbourne for the weekend and thought we would try this restaurant. I ordered the ravioli and my husband had the spaghetti marinara. I am Italian and have had many plates of pasta over the years, here in Australia and Italy and I have to say it was the worse bowl of pasta I have ever had in my entire life and my husband felt exactly the same. It tasted like a tin of tomatoes had been thrown i... View all feedback.

I’ve been to Spaghetti Tree a few times now and it never disappoints. This time I had the lasagne and it was excellent. Rich, comforting and full of flavour, just like a proper lasagne should be. My partner had the lamb cutlets, which were perfectly cooked and came with mash, veg and a really nice sauce that pulled it all together. The staff were friendly, the service was smooth, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming like always. It’s one of those places you can count on for a consistently good meal. Definitely recommend. Not the best food. I had veal which was tough and chewy and in general we found the ambience to be a little flat. It was quite expensive given how tired the decor is and how low the quality of the food is. We might...have just visited on a bad day, the place was full so it may well be that we were just unlucky but I would say to perhaps seek an alternative before choosing this venue, especially if it’s for anything other than a week night meal. I wouldn’t come here for a special occasion.
Fantastic Italian!! have been here before, loved it and was really looking forward to my next visit. was not disappointed. A food. Full of flavour, very clean fresh food. Great service. thanks.
This Italian restaurant is a true hidden gem located at the edge of the French quarter in front of the Sofitel. The cozy family atmosphere makes you feel like you are being welcomed with open arms. The meals are hearty and made with love. The decor is a mix of eclectic and comfortable, with plenty of space including an upper floor that demands attention. The background music sets a nice ambiance, but adding an authentic Italian guitarist would elevate the experience even more. The staff is friendly and happy to make suggestions to enhance your dining experience. Overall, this hidden gem could become the next popular spot in the area. Be sure to try the spaghetti at Spaghetti Tree on Bourke Street in Melbourne next time - I know I will definitely be back.
Staff are great, one person to let the team down is the untrained manager. Totally out of their depth.
We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious, the service and atmosphere were lovely, and the parmigiana, vegetarian ravioli, and spaghetti bolognese were all beautifully prepared. The lime sorbet was also delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary lemonade, and we will definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we are in Melbourne.
