For a long time I didn't really rate this place. I couldn't understand why people would queue in long lines for the food. However, I don't know what has changed but this is now my go to place most lunchtimes. I love the freshness of the food and the Bun (noodle salad) with lemongrass beef is a firm favourite. Love the Pho too, with just the right amount of spice it is lovely comfort food on a cold (or warm) day. Service is brisk but friendly given the amount of people who flood through this place.
This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I really enjoyed the pork crackling and rice dish. The sauce was amazing, and I found it to be great value for money. If you're looking for a quick lunch option, I would recommend trying this place. My only feedback would be for the lady at the cash register to smile more often and be a bit friendlier.
The rice paper rolls are definitely fresh. If you walk by in the morning you can see them being made. They are not the best rice paper rolls you can get in Melbourne though.
The food was excellent, but on the expensive side. A quick lunch of a pork roll and soup was just what I needed. The pork roll was a good size and delicious.
Vietnamese cuisine is making a comeback in Melbourne after a period of being out of the spotlight. This restaurant chain is known for its delicious rice paper rolls, hearty noodle soup bowls, and tasty roast pork rolls. The prices are reasonable, with many lunch options available for under $10. It's a popular choice among office workers like myself looking for a quick and satisfying meal.
