We had a great view looking across the river... read more Couldn't fault our experience at Miyako tonight. Loved the seafood paper hot pot, pork skewer, and soft shell crab. We had a great view looking across the river to Flinders Street station. Service was good.

Greeted and seated a... read more We Booked lunch for 2 over the long weekend, arriving from Adelaide to see Book of Mormon that weekend. 6 at the table ( 2 other couples) . Greeted and seated and served an interesting entre. Then entered Marlin the chef, Teppanyaki chef extraordinaire and stand up comedian all rolled in to one very interesting " sushi roll"He kept talking and cooking and we had a wonderful afternoon. The prawns and beef were cooked to perfection as was the chicken. Sabrina helped me master chop sticks and I was nearly an expert when I left but did resort to a fork at times in the interest of time! The rice at the end was amazing and we were very full when dessert was brought in.A very enjoyable and memorable lunch.Highly recommended and ask for Marlin if you can get him to cook for you.
