Food is OK but terrible customer service. Especially the staff at the counter was unbelievably rude. I had a good memory of Max Blenner at the Glen branch which was permanently closed, so I was so glad to find it in QV. But I shouldn't have visited here because my good memory of Max Brenner turned into an unpleasant one.
Haven't been to Max Brenner in a really long time but came here once quiet Sunday afternoon to get dessert. I ordered the molten chocolate cake, which while not very molten, was still delicious and the ice cream serving was generous. Paired with the vanilla milkshake it went down a treat. They clearly use good quality vanilla ice cream and not the artificial vanilla syrup. Service was okay, and price wise it's a little expensive for what it is. If you're craving something hot, rich, and indulgently sweet, this is the spot for you—the Bald Man Chocolate is a must-try! It's perfect for those with a serious sweet tooth!
If you're a chocolate lover, this is the perfect spot for you. The sharing platter was packed with an abundance of delightful sweets that felt almost overwhelming. The hot chocolate was fantastic, and the 80s Milkshake was easily one of the best vanilla milkshakes I've ever tasted. Each drink was served in unique cups that added to the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating; they apologised when the crepes were unavailable and went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience—just make sure to bring a big appetite and a craving for sweets!
