I wou... read more I visited this restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The nachos were delicious, although the chicken was a bit dry. However, the service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone craving Mexican food in the western suburbs.

The seasoning on the chips was fantastic as well, although more side options, such as salads, would have been appreciated.

Need I say more? Los Pollos has a great selection of Mexican dishes including all the usual suspects tacos, corn and burritos. We ordered the corn chips (AMAZING freshly deep fried and served with refreshing guacamole and salsa), street style corn (creamy, cheesy and tangy), French fries (crispy and loved the seasoning), flautas (aka fried tacos rolled up in a cigar with chicken I loved these although the chicken was a little dry), and a variety of tacos (I only had the veggie taco which was delicious, generous in fillings and tasty). Service was friendly and accommodating. They’ve also got a beer garden out the back. Great mid week feed, I recommend coming in a group so you can try more dishes. NB: They’ve changed the menu slightly so there’s no churros on the menu, they’ve switched to a caramel rice dessert.

It’s a small place, very much like the ones you find in California, a Mexican little taqueria with a Tex-Mex influence. As the name denotes it’s main ingredients other than tortillas is chicken, and it’s heavenly chicken. <br/ <br/ You get greeted by Adam the owner and his team with the friendliest of smile.<br/ <br/ The tacos are amazing, there are a few different fillings but hot chicken with the crunchy pickled onion is my favorite. There is plenty of filling, it’s spicy, full of flavor with a nice corn tortilla for a perfect taco. There are also Burritos, and various combinations of whole or part chicken. <br/ <br/ In a time where eating Mexican is so expensive paying $6 for one is a great value and honestly refreshing!<br/ <br/ So if you’re in the area and feel like Mexican you cannot go wrong.
