It’s in the most convenient spot on the way to uni, and to be honest, it hasn’t exactly earned a glowing reputation (it’s no East Brighton, that’s for sure). But credit where it’s due: MJ, one of the newer recruits, has bought its reputation up for me. The guy is the MJ of chicken. Served me with a genuine smile, kept things moving quickly, and just brought good energy to the whole experience. Food’s hit or miss sometimes, but service like that makes all the difference. Although the quality can be a bit hit and miss on rare occasion for the most part it’s great and far out ways the negative. The staff are always friendly and always understand the importance of the Sunday morning/lunch shift. The atmosphere is up there with the best and I have many fond memories of dinners there with my mates. The other night I went in for the first time in a while, they where flat out with a packed store but still remembered to add extra salt to my chips, that’s says all you need to know about this store, they take pride in their work. I once put 500$ dollars through this joint in a semester and I don’t regret a cent of it. Thanks for the memories and chicken over the years xx. While they don't have mashed potatoes, the gravy is delicious enough to make up for it. The quick and efficient service deserves a high rating.
