Was Anonym at Kappaya a mag?
We had dinner here the other night, a beautiful evening sitting outside in the plastic walled pavilion. A gorgeous japanese couple run the cafe and couldn't have done more for us. The menu was limited and simple but delicious. We had the chicken poached in...saki and ginger, there was plenty of it, with rice and seaweed and other bits and pieces. All for $12.00. Great value. We had come to The Convent a bit stressed... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Kappaya:
Kappaya began Johnstone St in 2007. It was an amazing place. Not sure it's open again. But I say thank you to Toshimitsu woman....you should never leave you house / house in Johnston st. You did an excellent job. Peter View all feedback.
A truly unique concept in Japanese food in Melbourne, this place makes you feel warm and cozy from the moment you set foot inside.
What is Japanese soul food? All I have ever known about Japanese food is that I have to order another dinner about half an hour later cause tiny shavings of
Friendly manager and nice food, especially curry puff and Vietnam cafe. Also, here provide plenty of beers that me and my friend love it. I I strongly recommend friends and family come here and enjoy a lovely afternoon.
I wish I lived closer to Kappaya, but it's probably a good thing I don't because I would spend all my money there. There's something about this charming Japanese cafe that I find irresistible. I could spend hours there sipping matcha and watching people. Although matcha is my favorite drink there, I also enjoy their coffee, beer, and snacks such as spiced rice crackers and sweets.
