I found this café in Maps and decided to go and have a latté. It was a short walk from the intersection of Smith and Johnston Streets. I ordered a Tumeric Latté. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I am drinking my latté as I write this, on 6 June 2025 on a cold Wintry windy Friday afternoon! What a lovely establishment with amazing decor and a good ambience. It feels so luxurious to have this golden beverage on such a day in here and by the way the drink is lovely, not too sweet, just perfect! Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other
Exceptionally bad value for money the food was fine, but I paid $35 for a main course, with add ons, and what came out was little bigger than an entree. If you want to spend nearly $40 on a meal to still be significantly hungry afterwards, or if you just want to instagram a pretty plate, this might be your kinda place, but if like most normal people you actually eat food because you're hungry, I'd suggest going somewhere else. I can 't praise this place highly enough! Lovely, super-professional staff, cosy atmosphere, great coffee, and the food... don 't even get me started! I had 'The Mushroom ' today and I 'm still in disbelief as to how something can be so. damn. delicious! Coming back tomorrow morning for the ricotta pancakes and proudly bringing along a friend from interstate. Faraday 's Cage is everything that makes Melbourne special! Love your work!
