A good little cafe for breakfast, lunch or bunch. Reasonable prices, good service, good atmosphere. We had banana and walnut bread with rhubarb compote, simple but nice, partner had the ever popular smashed avo, as good as anywhere. Recommend to try if you are in the area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Elceed:
Coffee pretty ordinary, breakfast underwhelming..reviews made it out to be very cool with great food ... just a bit tired and frankly not too much imagination to be found here Nice staff though... trying hard, but way off the mark View all feedback.
Have been here twice in one monthOnce with a friend, once aloneThey’re lovely, friendly and try hard to please. Not sure if they’ve ever run a cafe before, it’s all s bit stop/ start and “jerky”.No drama as long as you’re not in a rush.Chill- go with the flowCoffee and food eventually arrives and it’s worth the wait on both counts.Good, strong coffee.Delicious simple food.I’m a fan
Had my best coffee in Melbourne there last year. Have been thinking about going back. The design of the cafe is neat but stylish.I really like the lights there. I enjoyed the view from the inside to the outside through the big clean window, it feels peaceful.
Interesting menu. The smashed avocado and smashed peas looked delicious but the pumpkin salad I ordered was a bit disappointing. The flavours weren't bad but the pumpkin was very mushy and it probably could have done with a few more ingredients just for balance and texture.
Good place for a nice brunch. The food is good. I tried the fritters and loved it. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Order a cup of babycino if you have a child with you. It's nice and insta-worthy. The lighting in the shop is nice too with sunlight streaming in, making for good photos.
I have to say, the pulled pork burger at this restaurant is hands down the best I have ever tasted! I was initially put off by the fake plants on the tables outside, which I found a little cheesy, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming interior and courtyard. The coffee we had was absolutely delicious, complete with a beautiful rosetta on my flat white. The two servers we had were both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I think this place is a great alternative to auction rooms and I will definitely be returning now that I have discovered this hidden gem!
