Was Anonym at Elceed a mag?
A good little cafe for breakfast, lunch or bunch. Reasonable prices, good service, good atmosphere. We had banana and walnut bread with rhubarb compote, simple but nice, partner had the ever popular smashed avo, as good as anywhere. Recommend to try if you are in the area. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Elceed:
Coffee pretty ordinary, breakfast underwhelming..reviews made it out to be very cool with great food ... just a bit tired and frankly not too much imagination to be found here Nice staff though... trying hard, but way off the mark View all feedback.

Couldn't fault anything here. Great food, coffee and service. Open early for before work coffee and takeaway lunch was great!

Elceed is a beautiful light glass fronted restaurant looking out onto a tree lined street. There are elegant little tables on the foot path, more substantial tables inside and a few more in a sunny court yard out the back. The outdoor bits are made pet friendly with dog water bowls. The food is interesting and tasty, the service friendly and helpful (except for one waitress trying to give our meals to a table that had arrived a good 15 - 20 minutes after us and had placed their order mere moments before). The courtyard atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant, the food, juices and coffees were well done.
Our local cafe and is incredibly consistent with good coffee and great food. Normally we do breakfast and the serves are generous as well as some of the you will find in North Melbourne.

I happened upon this restaurant by chance and I'm so glad I did. I only tried the carrot cake and iced latte, but they were both fantastic.
The staff at this restaurant are wonderful! I highly recommend trying the halloumi croissant.
Had my best coffee in Melbourne there last year. Have been thinking about going back. The design of the cafe is neat but stylish.I really like the lights there. I enjoyed the view from the inside to the outside through the big clean window, it feels peaceful.
Interesting menu. The smashed avocado and smashed peas looked delicious but the pumpkin salad I ordered was a bit disappointing. The flavours weren't bad but the pumpkin was very mushy and it probably could have done with a few more ingredients just for balance and texture.
Good place for a nice brunch. The food is good. I tried the fritters and loved it. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Order a cup of babycino if you have a child with you. It's nice and insta-worthy. The lighting in the shop is nice too with sunlight streaming in, making for good photos.
