Chato Tapas Melbourne
Description
Chato Tapas offers a delightful array of authentic Spanish dishes, from tapas like tortilla and blood sausage to larger plates like arroz negra. The cocktail selection is impressive, with a special mention of the cocktail of the day. The service is top-notch, though a few dishes like paella were found too salty. The variety of tapas, including croquetas and ceviche, are highly recommended, along with the chicken and lamb specialties. With quality ingredients and exceptional flavors, Chato Tapas provides a fantastic dining experience, complete with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. An outstanding choice for Spanish cuisine lovers.

A really amazing place. My partner and I had a dinner date night here. Not only were the wait staff friendly, efficient and knowledgeable the food was absolutely delicious. I recommend trying the croquetteas paella. Overall a great experience at Chato. Thumbs up, thanks guys.
Dear Maria and staff, I would like to thank you very much for the wonderful delicious and well presented food we had for my birthday last night 21 Nov 2019. The staff was attentive, responsive and very friendly! I had special needs on the night and they were so easily and promptly accommodated. I really appreciate this so I could enjoy a good yummy meal with all my friends who were delighted with the taste and quality of the meal.!!! Thank you Chato
At this point in the stage 4 restrictions/curfew, I was getting jaded and sorely missing dine in food, when Chato renewed my enthusiasm for home delivered food. Prompt and friendly delivery from the restaurant, and the most amazing chicken I've had for a while their pollo a la brasa. Charred half chicken and potatoes in a lemon marinade that was so delicious, we didn't even need the patatas bravas sauce that I normally love. From the entrees: croqueta and tortilla were nice, empanada was ok, goat's cheese ball was a little too sweet from the honey, lamb skewer was delicious (again, amazing marinade). The chorizo and jamon rolls were ok, although we were getting full by this stage so may not have been in the best state to appreciate them. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back for the chicken and lamb!
