We were starting to question our decision to meet... read more We live in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne and it took us over an hour to get to Chato in peak hour traffic. We were starting to question our decision to meet friends for dinner at a place so far away, especially with the traffic. However, the food turned out to be simply excellent. We ordered the Seafood Paella, croquettes de jamon, and patatas bravas. It was a lot of food, but we couldn't resist because it was the best. The staff were friendly and tolerated my attempts at speaking bad Spanish with good humor. The only downside of the evening was that where we were sitting near the hall, it was quite cold. This may have been because the air conditioner was on, which we only noticed when we were leaving.
