Was Anonym at ChangGo a mag?
We found the place by chance. I'd walked past a closed, unnamed restaurant and thought it looked like it has closed down. I walked back 30 mins later to find it almost full and decided to try it. While I've been to Korea I can't say I'm an expert of Korean food but the staff were very friendly and helped us order and the bbq was the best I've had - and really great value. By the time we left there was a large queue.... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about ChangGo:
At first, I was quite upset to see three sad side dishes (scrappy kimchi, sliced onions in vinegar and bits and pieces of radish swimming in deep vinegary broth) for what was supposed to be my big birthday meal, as these were probably the worst side dishes I've ever seen in a Korean restaurant. Then the quality meat made me feel slightly better. Still, for the amount we paid, I would have gotten way more somewhere el... View all feedback.
From the moment I walked in, I received a warm and hospitable welcome. The restaurant had a stylish and elegant decor, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The menu offered a variety of delicious options to cater to every taste. Each dish was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The flavors and textures were well-balanced, making every bite a culinary delight. The service was excellent, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were friendly and accommodating, treating me like a valued guest. The dessert was absolutely heavenly, with rich flavors and decadent textures that I savored with each bite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. From the ambiance to the food and service, everything was exceptional. I am looking forward to returning to indulge in another exquisite meal at this establishment.
We decided to try Combo A after having brunch two hours earlier and we were not disappointed. The food quality was average, but the price was reasonable. The portions were generous with side dishes, meat, rice, etc. It is recommended to go right when they open at 4:30pm to avoid long queues. The ventilation was good and prevented clothes from smelling like BBQ fumes. The ambience was pleasant despite being crowded. The staff provided good service and even helped with cooking. Overall, worth a revisit.
I absolutely love this place! The BBQ is the best. I just wish I could pace myself better while eating, as I always end up feeling too full.
