Was MeMock at Blok M Express a mag?
In a rush to get to the Rugby at Marvel Stadium, the kids and I needed some fuel. We walked past heaving restaurants which because of time restraints we didn't consider. came across this place with not a single customer inside. I said to my kids....we will probably regret this decision but went inside anyway. I asked how long to get some food and was told 10 minutes. It took 5! The Beef Rendang was amazing and the ot... What LiszieD dislikes about Blok M Express:
The food is average in taste, but the portions are quite large, which is great for Asian diners who are craving Asian cuisine. Overall, it was just okay for me. The restaurant has limited space for dining in. View all feedback.
I visited this place at the first time with a friend and we always coming back every 2 weeks. We had nasi campur, sop buntut, and iga bakar.Fast serve, very nice food and reasonable price.Just when it gets busy, table is not being cleaned quick.Apart from it, we loved it.
Having spent a lot of time in Indonesia and this is as authentic as it gets. Despite the sign saying no mee goreng they did make one for me. Simple, fresh food. I was asked if I wanted it hot (no). $11 for dinner and I took half of it home as it was such a generous portion. Must say that the photos others post aren't realistic. This place is not fancy, not up Market and very much like street food in Indonesia. Old wooden tables and stools with outdated posters add to the ambience. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Parking is always challenging. Will return.
So there are a lot of food choices on Little Bourke. Wandered in one lunchtime having seen a picture of Singapore Noodles in the window. Anyway tried to order this dish and the girl behind the cashier had no idea what I was asking for. So I made reference to Noodle dish and that got a response. So paid $11 for what I hoped was Singapore Noodles. What turned up as per picture was Nasi Goreng. Nice but not what I thought it would be. Good flavour only let down by a few bits of gristle in the chicken - so food preparation was a little lazy. Sort of sums up the place. Serve was really big. Ask for a take away container and it's another 0.50c. Not a good customer strategy.
Good and reasonable price for AYAM BERLADO .One of the favorite place to eat while in Melbourne . Highly recommended for any Asian especially Malaysian , Singaporean and Indonesian .
