Simple, fresh food.... read more Having spent a lot of time in Indonesia and this is as authentic as it gets. Despite the sign saying no mee goreng they did make one for me. Simple, fresh food. I was asked if I wanted it hot (no). $11 for dinner and I took half of it home as it was such a generous portion. Must say that the photos others post aren't realistic. This place is not fancy, not up Market and very much like street food in Indonesia. Old wooden tables and stools with outdated posters add to the ambience. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Parking is always challenging. Will return.

Anyway tried to order t... read more So there are a lot of food choices on Little Bourke. Wandered in one lunchtime having seen a picture of Singapore Noodles in the window. Anyway tried to order this dish and the girl behind the cashier had no idea what I was asking for. So I made reference to Noodle dish and that got a response. So paid $11 for what I hoped was Singapore Noodles. What turned up as per picture was Nasi Goreng. Nice but not what I thought it would be. Good flavour only let down by a few bits of gristle in the chicken - so food preparation was a little lazy. Sort of sums up the place. Serve was really big. Ask for a take away container and it's another 0.50c. Not a good customer strategy.
