Last night in Matane and then I'm on my way back to laval and I'm glad I stop by Cargo so far out of all the places I tried this one had the best food.
You walk in a really nice decorStaff is friendlyAt first we ordered the cold cut and cheese platter to share with some **** ceasar.
Very beautiful site, very beautiful view, eager and courteous staff, good beer, good entrances but the main meal bitterly disappointed us. the cod I ate was lacking freshness and sauce and its taste was too lemon (maybe to compensate for the lack of freshness?) my wife ate a lobster club in which the quantity of lobster left to be desired. from our experience, I'd say I'd go back to it, but by refraining from ordering a main dish.
The Venue: The restaurant features a contemporary design that has a club-like atmosphere, in my opinion. It has a nice layout with a sufficient number of tables. What I tried: I dropped by for breakfast...
We stayed at Riotel and dined at Cargo, the restaurant located within Riotel Matane, on our first night after a long day of travel. It was a pleasant experience with delicious food.
