I spent two summers in matane on the cegep. since I drove directly past matane with my family, we decided to eat in the city to lunch. one of the places where we spent a lot of time 25 years ago when I was on the cegep was the vieux loups bar. I've been there regularly for several years and I find that there is a very good service and a good atmosphere. For those who want to drink while eating, there is "the old wolf" which is a bar in the same building as this restaurant but the food is prepared in the italia pizzeria restaurant. delivery is free within the city limits which makes it a plus. as it is a pizzeria, the choice of pizza is the most complete of all restaurants in the city. I'm recommending it to all those who pass around.
This restaurant has always existed and it gives the impression that it has not changed. the map is simple: pizza, submarine and friture. The service is simple and warm, the generous portions and we don't feel like eating the formatted food of the large chains. the dining room is small and the bathroom would need a little love. For those who want a glass of beer by eating, know that it's not possible, they don't have a liquor license.
