Very beautiful site, very beautiful view, eager and courteous staff, good beer, good entrances but the main meal bitterly disappointed us. the cod I ate was lac... read more Very beautiful site, very beautiful view, eager and courteous staff, good beer, good entrances but the main meal bitterly disappointed us. the cod I ate was lacking freshness and sauce and its taste was too lemon (maybe to compensate for the lack of freshness?) my wife ate a lobster club in which the quantity of lobster left to be desired. from our experience, I'd say I'd go back to it, but by refraining from ordering a main dish.

We ordered cl... read more A nice modern restaurant by the beach. They are in the Riotel hotel. They have a high modern decor. We reserved for 6:30 and they were quite busy. We ordered clam chowder and duck drum sticks. The chowder was delicious, the drumsticks sweat and spicy. Very good. For our mains, the salmon tartare was the best we ever had. It was unfortunate that the pasta was dry, not creamy. They also drizzled balsamic glaze around the dish which turned me off. All in all it was quite good. 3/4 not bad. Enjoy the beach after supper.

The goods: I stopped in for breakfast and ordered two eggs with sausage. Overall, it was a good breakfast that included coffee. The portion size is OK. I wouldn't say it's small but it's not overly generous. For me, it was fine. The eggs were really good, the home fries were not greasy and the sausage was tasty. Service: The girl who seated us was surly. If you're going to work with the public, and in particular, in the restaurant/ tourism industry, you might want to put a smile on your face. She left us with the impression that we were bothering her. That said, our waitress was very friendly. Price point: A bit steep for what you get but it's to be expected.

The service it's amazing, the waitresses Anáis and Noemi are very friendly and extremely beautiful. The food is great, well served good pricing a lot of potatoes in the plates but it's a regional thing, the chef has an excellent seasoning. I recommend it a lot, especially the tartars and the pokes that are amazing.

I took t... read more Last night in Matane and then I'm on my way back to laval and I'm glad I stop by Cargo so far out of all the places I tried this one had the best food. I took the linguine shrimp Matane garlic sauce plate it was amazing I was really impressed. They make there own beer that I tried which was also really good . Service was excellent the decor was nice it was kind of odd looking but still nice . I took there Browne dessert which they make them self was a perfect way to end the dinner. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely come back and see what else they can do.

Fo... read more You walk in a really nice decor. Staff is friendly. At first we ordered the cold cut and cheese platter to share with some **** ceasar. This was really good. For dinner I had the decadent grill cheese and ask for a ceasar salad instead of the house salad. It was good. There was a huge piece of bread and a leaf under the salad that I think didn'tbelong there... Not everything needs to be deconstructed. Since we were staying atthe hotel, we went for breakfast the next morning. I ordered the ham eggs benedicts. The roasted potatoes were good, but my eggs were overdone (almost hard boiled) poach eggs on benedict needs to be soft and runny for me. The hollandaise didn't do it for me either. I had my share of eggs benedicts in restaurant and at home and these were not in my top 10. The breakfast menu offered many other options that sounded really good.. So probably for next time. The pricing was right on.

The food was simply exceptional, deserving a perfect score of 5 out of 5. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal, earning another 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and enjoyable, creating the ideal setting for our dinner. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for a fantastic dining experience!
