Lost Horse Saloon - Marfa
Lost Horse Saloon
Description
Tucked away in Marfa, The Lost Horse Saloon serves as a charming dive bar that blends its rich history with a laid-back vibe. Visitors enjoy a welcoming atmosphere coupled with classic Texas brews and a solid selection of bar bites. While some dishes, like the brisket and chicken tacos, receive high praise for their freshness and flavor, others seem overpriced, sparking mixed feelings from patrons. Despite occasional service inconsistencies and food availability, the venue’s welcoming ambiance and cultural significance make it a unique spot worth a visit for those exploring this small town. A hidden gem in a desolate landscape.

Walked in and it felt immediately at home. Lots of good bars just share the same DNA. We didn't stay long, my partner was hungry and they didn't have food that day. They also didn't know when they'd have food again and god bless the cook that comes in when he feels like it. Wish I had longer in town, I'd like to go back with a full belly and just hang out for a bit.
Food was basic no frills bar food, $5 drafts, and $4 bottles were nice, but holy cow there's a reason they don't put prices on the menus. I'm talking $12 for a little thing of chips and salsa you'd get for free at any other TexMex joint and $16 for 3 lil' chicken tacos. We got taken for a ride with them tourist prices Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Classic unpretentious bar with karaoke nights on the weekend Price per person: $10–20
