We find this place open in Marfa to eat. We sat at the bar and had to wait bartenders or servers until we drink and order. That was the only problem, but once we got our drinks and food, it was quite worth waiting for it. I like her fried steak with Jalapeño Gravy and pistachios. It was so delicious. And Cocteil was also very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jett's Grill:
Try to understand, but really, is it hard to serve a burger warm? Or at least not to make a new one? The new burger was now well done, not medium. At least it was warm? I was too hungry to say something else. The pommes were delicious. View all feedback.

Jett’s Grill: Nothing beside remainsIt’s said you die twice in life. The first time when your heart stops beating, and the second when someone thinks of you for the last time. I can say with complete certainty that Jett’s Grill no longer has a beating heart, kept alive only by my inability to forget the worst dining experience of my life.Throughout my life, I’ve visited Marfa a handful of times. Jett’s Grill was always a highlight of the trip. Though relatively expensive, it was an incredible dining experience. Service by the wait staff was top notch, and the rotating seasonal menu was constantly great.Unfortunately, none of these attributes were present at my most recent visit to Jett’s. Upon arriving with a party of six, it was clear that something was off. The inside seating area was empty, and the guests were few and far between in the outside seating. The confusion would continue after we were not served the complimentary bread that was formerly a standard. Though, we were willing to write these off as the menu looked fantastic, composed of many of the classic Jett’s dishes. (Note: The menu was different than the one provided online on the official Jett’s Grill website). Our poor service would begin after our waitress told my friend with Celiac she was not familiar with the Gluten-Free Lifestyle , making it difficult for him to find options on the menu. Additionally, we were not offered more water after several minutes of our pitcher being empty, and never being asked what we would like to drink. This was especially upsetting considering the wait staff’s utter lack of preoccupation. Several of the waiters clearly had nothing to do, looking at their phones or just hanging out at the back of the dining area. After 30 minutes, our appetizers arrived. They were fine, a step down from what I’d had previously, but nothing too out of the ordinary. 30 minutes later, our food would arrive. Though the last member of my party wouldn’t get his food for another 15 minutes after the rest of us after being told the “pasta machine” was broken. (He was given a 75% discount on the pasta, but the added shrimp was inexplicably excluded from this discount). This was when Jett’s committed an unforgivable sin. About halfway through eating my tortilla crusted chicken, I would notice a strange addition to my vegetables: a large fly. I notified the waitress, who brought out the manager. He quickly took away the plate, a came back a few minutes later to tell me he “took it off”. No apology, no more food to replace what I’d been given, and only a single sentence in response to one of the worst things that can happen while eating at a restaurant, especially a high end establishment like Jett’s. Additionally, we also found hundreds of dead flies under the windowsill at the opposite side of my table. Safe to say, our appetite was ruined. After this debacle, we were asked if we wanted dessert. “Absolutely not”. I responded. Our checks came with gratuity automatically at 20%. If you ask me, they owed us money after eating there. The worst restaurant experience of my life.I’ll leave you with a quote from Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley. “My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
First off all, waiters are not aware of what Gluten-Free means, and it was made very difficult to order anything I was able to eat. Second of all, music that was played was inappropriate for the type of restaurant. Third of all, waiters were not attentive and the service was exceptionally bad. Fourth of all, a bug was found in my companions food which made our whole table disgusted and the rest of the meal became hard to eat. Horrible, horrible experience. I came here in 2021 Christmas time and it was a pleasant experience. But in the time that I haven’t been here everything has changed and Jett’s Grill became horrible. DO NOT GO HERE!
