Stellina - Marfa

Definitely one of the finer restaurants in the city. Very different, varied and inspired. decent portions for an uppity place and not too expensive. Great and attentive service. However, my only complaint was the servicing of room temperature water. Call me uncultivated, but I just can't see how it is; especially in a hot desert town.

Phenomenal food. I had the yellow tuna, my friend got the short rib and we shared the bread, butter and marinated cucumber. Both dishes were amazing. The atmosphere was also great and the waiter was friendly.

We had to wait before we were sitting, but Stellina was worth waiting. We had 3 smaller plates; the Queso, the cale and the pig bell. Everything was really good, except the belly that was a little too salty for my taste. But we were absolutely amazed with the desserts. The kiss was the best part of my night! The place is beautiful, in the middle of Marfa.

This is AMAZING!! We were in Alpine but drove here twice during our weekend trip. The menu changes every day and some of the appetizers are main stays. Both times we had an amazing experience! In the first night I ordered pasta and my husband got the steak; the pasta was so delicious, freshened and you could definitely say! Recommend this place for everyone in town or nearby. The wine card is also really good and couples really good with the food. It can be busy, but for 2 people, we haven't waited too long, maybe 15 minutes at 7:00.

Fantastic dining in Marfa, Texas. If you are out by way of Marfa, don't miss Stellina. Great, fresh ingredients make for well-presented dishes with standout flavor. Good wines to pair with the meal. This restaurant would be a hit anywhere. My only disappointment is that Marfa is so for away from me. Locals, enjoy!
