This ta... read more If you love BBQ then your taste buds will be in for a real treat when they are introduced to the down home taste of Pop's REAL South Carolina style BBQ. This tantalizingly good, light vinegar type BBQ sauce gives their meat a great taste without overwhelming it. The awesome thing is they also offer samples of a sweeter, more tomato based sauce and a mustard type sauce for you to try with your meal as well. No matter what your BBQ tastes are they've got it pretty well covered here. Not only is the food great here but the prices are very reasonable for the size of portions you get. I can't imagine anyone walking away hungry after eating one of their meals. All of their BBQ meals are awesome and their BLT sandwiches are second to none. However, in my opinion if you haven't tasted their onion rings you're missing out on one of the best items on the menu. The onions go through a long, detailed preparation process and then are covered in a unique batter that produces light, crunchy and flavorful onion rings that are out of this world! All this outstanding food is presented to you with a smile by the owners and their staff. Today ten members of my family stopped by on our way back home from my grandma's birthday party to have lunch. They were short staffed, but our server never missed a beat and the service was outstanding. While we don't get to stop by Pop's that often the folks there seem to remember us and treat us like we are family and we appreciate that.
