I did order a cinnamon roll... read more This is an adorable restaurant that happens to serve very good food! I ordered the club with onion rings and got three meals out it. I did order a cinnamon roll to go and found it very clove forward and less cinnamon-y, so be warned if that is not a flavor you enjoy. Definitely check them out if you are in the area and need a bite.

It was a full house, the kitchen people were just jok... read more Two stars for the service gals that work in a terribly chaotic environment with two clowns in the kitchen. It was a full house, the kitchen people were just joking and talking instead of being focused on getting orders out. I was watching them reading orders over and over but being distracted by fooling and joking around. Meanwhile the service ladies getting the impatient customers feedback and getting close to a meltdown. This place needs to get cleaned up and have a better team set up. We waited for our food for at least one hour and then still didn’t have our correct order. The service gals were doing their best. Things would fall or tip because the place is just a simple mess for service personnel to do work successfully. The owner needs to step up and do its job. It starts at the top. The Service personnel have a great work ethic and deserve better. We have no desire of a refund but the service gals deserve a bonus for that day then for sure.

I always loved stopping there on my way to Eugene from Brookings but when I stopped on Sunday July 7th 2024, I was greeted by a woman dressed like a Scandinavia... read more I always loved stopping there on my way to Eugene from Brookings but when I stopped on Sunday July 7th 2024, I was greeted by a woman dressed like a Scandinavian princess and she steered me and I asked for a cup of coffee. 29 minutes later I asked again for a coffee, 29 minutes later I went up to the counter to get coffee an order breakfast and was told she never saw me. I never got my coffee or breakfast so I finally left after an hour NEVER TO RETURN

Cute photo ops and activities like rock painting/dedication add to charm of the restaurant. Basic breakfast was basic...shredded hashbrowns were not cooked all the way through on griddle (ask for them crispy). Homemade biscuits were very good.
