On my way to Florence my friend and I stopped in for a bathroom break and a bite. I have a service dog. Upon arrival a customer at the bar looked at me and said “what’s your disability” after telling him I had a neurological condition (which was actually none of his business) the bartender proceeded to tell me no dogs. My dog was wearing His vest and I proceeded to tell her I could give his papers. They said the owner said no dogs and no service dogs. They turned me away. Even with offering everything needed for my medical alert dog. We were denied service. A kind woman followed me out and told me She was sorry and knows it’s illegal for them to do that. Very disappointed, I understand there is a stigma. However I did not choose this for myself and I try to be a normal person. This felt isolating and discriminatory.

The prices for drinks and food are very reasonable. The burgers are excellent, and the bartenders are great. It's a fun place to be!

If you’re in Mapleton and looking for a great spot to enjoy a burger and a drink, this is one of the best choices around. The fantastic staff are complemented by mostly wonderful patrons. If you're itching to start a party, Frank's is the place to be, though keep in mind they usually close before 1 AM. Parking can be tricky on busy nights, as spots near the entrance may be hard to find. However, there is a large parking lot by the highway for overflow. Additionally, there's a back entrance with around eight parking spaces, though it does have stairs. As for kid-friendliness, Frank's currently does not allow children inside, but there are plans to expand the pub to include a small restaurant in the future, so stay tuned! In terms of wheelchair accessibility, the front entrance is accessible; however, the back entrance, which is not wheelchair-friendly due to stairs, may present some challenges due to concrete bumps in the parking lot. Wheelchair users should enter from either side of the strip for easier access.
