We stopped off in June and made a special journey in September to try the restaurant at lunchtime as we had looked into the restaurant and it looked professiona... read more We stopped off in June and made a special journey in September to try the restaurant at lunchtime as we had looked into the restaurant and it looked professional and the menu looked good quality rustic. On arrival we were squashed into a back table at the back of the bar. The food was hearty but the experience was not as we had been told in June. We were then told that we should book for evening dinner to eat in the restaurant. This we did about a week later. On arrival the restaurant was in darkness and again told to take a table in the bar. There was no real service as the family and friends watched the football on a large flatscreen whilst we were eating.
