Very good food, friendly and normal price. Excellent semifredo! In same building is enoteca witch vino An other specialities.
Meat speciality but serves fish, too. You van choose pizzoccheri, meat, fish, dessert. A lot of types of wine.
We were there for just one day and we wanted to eat something tipical. So we ordered some polenta e spezzatino. It was delicious, but the portion was little. For 28 swiss franks you can eat much more. We were still hungry so we had to order a pizza ending up spending more. By the way it was tasty, but after a day of sport a good portion would have been much more satisfing.
Used to come here 20 years ago when it was commonly referred to as Fausto's and they made the best pitzochle around. Its a little changed, no sign of Fausto, service is not as friendly (ok it was tourist season and we're just tourists) and we were eating the Bar area as the restaurant area was closed for lunch. A little disappointing compared to the fantastic meals we had in the past. Worth another try though in the future
We had lunch in this place when we travelled from Switzerland over the Splügen to Italy. The menu in the evening is most likely much bigger than for lunch. The only have some plates with cheese and cold meat. The service was friendly and the plate was ok.
