Pho Oi - Laredo
Pho Oi
Description
Pho Oi delivers vibrant, aromatic Vietnamese fare—remarkable pho broth, crisp fried and delicate steamed dumplings, tasty egg rolls and refreshing teas—served quickly by attentive staff in a clean, family-friendly space. Many patrons praise the flavors, speed and service, though some report inconsistent seasoning and skimpy portions. A recurring concern is undisclosed price increases and brusque management at checkout, so confirm menu prices before paying.

Please be cautious about pricing discrepancies when you pay your bill at this restaurant. The menu prices inside were higher than those advertised online. Despite the price increases, we decided to stay. However, when it came time to pay, we noticed that the Beef Lo Mein had gone up from $11.99 to $13.99, and the Vermicelli combo was charged at $15.99 instead of the listed $14.95. When I asked about these charges at the register, I was told that all prices had been raised but the menu hadn't been updated. I stated that it's unacceptable for a business to advertise one price and then charge another without notifying customers in advance. The staff member responded that I could either pay the higher amount or not, and her demeanor was quite rude and unhelpful. I cannot recommend this restaurant if you value customer service, honesty, and transparency.
The service was exceptional! The young gentleman who served us was incredibly friendly and offered some fantastic recommendations. We absolutely loved the dumplings, both the steamed and fried varieties. My toddler really enjoyed both the dumplings and the chicken pho. I tried the egg noodle wonton pho, and it was outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant! A heartfelt thank you to the kind young man who took such good care of my daughter and me; we truly appreciate it!
Stopped by today in hopes of some delicious noodles. I ordered the Pho combination (I believe it’s called), it has several “meats” on it. Once I got it, it looked ok but then the smell hit me
The chicken soup with shrimp is simply outstanding! And the dumplings? They are delicious!
Prices are way different and they overcharge you for everything. Owner is horrible and shouldn’t even work there. She argues with the customers just by questioning that the price is more when you pay. She says it cost more to pick up your food?!! How does that even make sense? The waiters and staff are nice it’s just the owner that is just plain rude and horrible.
