Border Foundry Restaurant And Bar

Zelt for brunch I got the wrong order and when my proper order arrived, it was cold. I was surprised because the place was not really too busy. this place has potential, but must fix some of the shortcuts they have in the kitchen if they want to be big.

Good food, great atmosphere, wonderful wine selection. The ahi tuna burger hits the spot as does the double bone pork chop and the salmon over risotto was delicious. I've had the bison steak and enjoyed it as well.

I had dinner with a coworker wanted to see if this place was different from others as it promised. It fell short of what I had hoped it would be. I had the roasted Salmon and risotto. It was ok not a whole lot of flavor then ordered the berry trifle. Small small portion if shortbread and sliced strawberries next to strawberry Ice cream. The ice cream had a crunchy texture like freezer burn so I told the waiter. He said the chef said it was made fresh? Ok but it tasted awful and I didn't eat it other than my first small bite. I was offered no discount, or replacement nothing just told its fresh. Very disappointed will not return

The Border Foundry restaurant in Laredo, Texas was a great choice for a friend's birthday celebration. Despite our initial skepticism, our night at Border Foundry turned out to be impressive. Our group of six was told they would hold a table for us within 15 minutes of our arrival, a policy our friend found convenient. However, upon arrival, our table was not reserved as expected. Nonetheless, our experience at Border Foundry exceeded our expectations.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the chef even came out to personally check on me. The seabass dish was top notch, definitely one of the best seafood dishes I've had, and I also thoroughly enjoyed a delicious steak.
