Description

Nestled in a charming village, this restaurant offers a warm atmosphere and a diverse menu that delights guests. While many appreciate the friendly service and high-quality food, some diners express disappointment with the consistency and timing of their meals, particularly during busy periods. Though options like the 2-for-1 meal deal provide value, patrons find certain dishes, like the Sunday roast, lacking in execution. Despite varied experiences, the overall ambiance, coupled with excellent cocktails and a dog-friendly policy, positions the restaurant as a popular yet occasionally overhyped dining choice, best suited for casual visits rather than special occasions.

We popped in for a cup of tea after visiting the museum and a brief very windy walk at the bay and the door was opened for us as we approached and we were warmly greeted and ushered inside. Menu looked great and we couldn’t resist the crab salad which was indeed delicious. Thank you!

What’s not to love about this place, a very warm welcome, excellent service, a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful food. I had Crab sandwiches which must have been the best in a long time. After a long walk around Kimmerage this restaurant is a welcoming place to stop, the staff are just so helpful and we shall come back again for sure. Thank you.

Excellent service and incredibly delicious food. We truly enjoyed our lunch, especially thanks to the lovely view of the quiet village street and the fragrant tree creating a cozy atmosphere above our heads. The only downside for me was the coffee

Fab location but takes advantage of very little competition. Food mostly fried, over priced and not very good. I had soup ok and bread awful synthetic white. No excuse when you can get amazing bread these days . However staff lovely and very friendly. I'd say take a picnic, save some money and treat yourself to an expensive ice cream £4.50 for single scoop .

What a beautiful hidden gem! Absolutely devine food. Lovely friendly service and beautiful scenery. we had the salmon nicóise, halloumi fries and a plate of chips, with a very generous helping of chocolate Ice cone for the child. Would highly recommend this place.
